Advice
offers of advice
will often go unheeded
not for being bad
but because they are not needed
take no offense
if it seems I ignore you
I am wrapped up
trying to seek my own little clue
I do not care
if no one listens to me
it is one sided
offered from just what I see
it isn't the words
that are the biggest part
but that we listen
with the ears of our heart
I was going to write a response that had lots of reinforcing commentary. I stopped when I realized being succinct works so much better. Thank you.
ReplyDeleteI just offered some advice to a friend today and I understand exactly what you are trying to say. Hope I am not presumptious. I am suggesting that the title of this be Advice.
