deliberate ignorance
or abusive bickering
as acceptable today?
you say, I say, they say
too many words said
not enough heard
and even less done
time means very little
the status quo remains
keep sliding down hill
let tomorrow find hope
you can feel no blame
for actions left undone
as long as you claim
it was only their fault
I say end the excuses
place the fault at home
with us for we reelect you
there is the true ignorance
