The One Hundred Eighty Ninth, July 7, 2011

days drifting past
a leisurely warp 6
just far too slow
yet already by us

how can something
be oh so sluggish
and lightning fast
at the same time?

tomorrow is so far
and today soon gone
is there any balance?
simply enough time?

we need to change
slow down today
never rush tomorrow
be in the now first

live in the moment
however it may be
not in the future
which may not come

  1. I want to say, Time is (a) Relative, but that's not quite what you are saying. We have so little control in our life, so, our control is that one thing...living in the moment. It's one of the hardest things we can do. Time can be our best friend or our worst enemy. Time is both and neither. This moment is fully ours.
