I made a pledge to myself to write a poem a day for the entire year. Now to follow through. I preface this with a reminder; most of the poems written for this year long project will be done so spontaneously and therefore will not be edited. Bear with me on this. The project goal is to get them written over getting them perfect. Several times there will simply be the poem with no title. When that happens suggestions for a title will be welcomed in the comments.
Wouldn't it be amazing if everybody listened and understood? It would be even more amazing if everyone felt understood. Most of us simply want to be agreed with. With two it is difficult enough. With a room of people it's amazingly impossible, without a gifted person who is also "considered" the leader. How often does THIS happen????
ReplyDeleteListening is a forgotten skill. We should always listen with our hearts. So often it is one ear in and one ear out.
ReplyDeleteI'm listening :-)
