The Two Hundred Twelfth, July 30, 2011

Whisper on the Wind

in the still small hours
day breathes first breath
the silent world awakens
calls for life to join it

softly the voice drifts
never intruding on any
subtly seeking entrance
stirring desire to waken

softly eyes flicker open
kissed by young sun rising
life renewed once again
by a whisper on the wind

  1. It's perfect just as it is. The title is, of course, "Whisper on the Wind" and could be the title of a second book of writings.

  2. Thank you, Connie, and title is set. Now about the second book, I still think I will be lucky to get through this first one, but I thank you for the confidence!
